Just S$6 and you'll have a host of "models" to take photos of. The
Singapore Motorshow is probably the best event to do so.
Main "upgrade" in my camera gear for this year (
compared to previous years) is my Panasonic Leica 10-25mm f/1.7. It's a premium zoom lens with a constant f/1.7 aperture.
From my experiences leading up to this event, I wasn't satisfied with the sharpness produced at f/1.7, and so I set my aperture to f/2.0 for all of my photos.
I started out using Manual mode so I could choose a faster shutter speed to darken the distractions in the background. I found it cumbersome to need to change my shutter speed between locations and so setting on using Aperture priority mode (with aperture set to f/2.0).
Put this lens on my Panasonic GX9 (with handgrip) and a Godox TT350o flashgun and off I went.
Now I just needed to tap the screen to make sure I was focused on my desired subject but otherwise, it's very much point-and-shoot.
So here're the shots I got from this year's Motorshow:
