Micro Four Thirds at the Singapore Motorshow 2020

Just S$6 and you'll have a host of "models" to take photos of. The Singapore Motorshow is probably the best event to do so.

Main "upgrade" in my camera gear for this year (compared to previous years) is my Panasonic Leica 10-25mm f/1.7. It's a premium zoom lens with a constant f/1.7 aperture.

From my experiences leading up to this event, I wasn't satisfied with the sharpness produced at f/1.7, and so I set my aperture to f/2.0 for all of my photos.

I started out using Manual mode so I could choose a faster shutter speed to darken the distractions in the background. I found it cumbersome to need to change my shutter speed between locations and so setting on using Aperture priority mode (with aperture set to f/2.0).

Put this lens on my Panasonic GX9 (with handgrip) and a Godox TT350o flashgun and off I went.

Now I just needed to tap the screen to make sure I was focused on my desired subject but otherwise, it's very much point-and-shoot.

So here're the shots I got from this year's Motorshow:
